At Indigo Press we care a lot more than about making impressions on paper. For three generations, we have been in the business of making lasting impressions on our client’s minds through a combination of great quality printing, timely delivery, efficient handling, and friendly, caring service. We successfully navigate the journey from being just a print vendor to a Green Channel print partner.

Combining technology with expertise

We are a fully integrated modern print shop based in Byculla, Mumbai with in house capabilities that span from pre-press, printing, binding, and other post print processes. While we have invested in the latest equipment in every department of our business, we have also nurtured the human expertise and skill sets that enable us to make the best use of our infrastructure.

Enhancing large volume output with attention to minute details

We firmly believe that for a print job to look divine, we have to deal with the devil in the small details. Our approach to delivering perfect quality is to ensure that we leave nothing to chance. From our prepress inspecting the artwork and correcting it where required, to calibrating our printing to adjust for dot gain we take every parameter into consideration while executing a job with a view to ensure that you get the best output every time. Our machines are always kept in pristine condition by undertaking routine preventive maintenance.

Serving niche markets

While we have a large range of capabilities, we are majorly focused on printing B2B periodicals, manuals, coffee table books, children’s books, and textbooks etc. Our large capacity and team ensures that we are able to deliver short and large runs with adherence to tight deadlines with zero compromise on quality.

Our clients include large publishers, leading corporations, and MNC’s for whom we print for global markets.

Founders Desk

In the history of our human race, it would be appropriate to say that the Gutenberg press was to the yesteryears, what the internet is for the present generation - an instrument that revolutionized and democratized access to knowledge.

Much change has happened to the printing technologies during this period, and every indication demonstrates that we have yet to reach the boundaries of innovation; when it comes to printing.

Three generations of the my (Wadekar) family have spent their professional lifetimes dedicated to the printing industry - beginning with letter-press (an early advancement of the Gutenberg technology) to the advanced and sophisticated KBA Rapida machines that we presently use.

Along the way what has remained constant is our dedication to quality, our passion for excellence, our ability to stay ahead of the technology curve and our relentless adherence to deadlines when it comes to customer service.

Over the years we have been pioneers when it came to adopting technology:

We were one of the first to install the fully loaded KBA 105 printing line in Mumbai.
We were also one of the early birds to introduce colour management and GMG software
We were also early converts to leveraging the power of Digital pre-press to enhance the quality of our output within short deadlines.
We are one of the few mid sized printing units that are fully integrated and handle all process from receiving artworks online to pre-press, CTP plate making, printing and post printing processes including binding etc., in-house.

Over the years we have emerged as the “Go-To” printers for handling printing of short and large run books, business publications, and periodicals as well as high quality Coffee Table Books etc. We operate within a premise admeasuring 15000 sq. ft., and run 3 high speed automated KBA printing lines along with in house pre-press studio, a CTP Plate making facility and post production processes like binding etc.

Our customers include several prestigious publishers in the B2B domain as well as leading brands and MNc’s. For several of our MNC clients, we handle their world wide printing requirements as a Green Channel Partner (indicating trust in our quality that allows their teams to use our printed material without having to do a detail quality check)

We are well equipped to handle international jobs and have logistics partners who facilitate global door-to-door deliveries.
